we have been using the products ourselves for some time and this year, together with Black Diamond, we also did a Karwendel traverse and put the products through their paces ;-).

Apparel from the Distance Series:

Rhythm: the T-shirts and longsleeves made of Nuyarn Merino (merino-wrapped nylon fiber) are extremely light and, due to the nylon core, significantly more stable than pure merino shirts.
Alpenglow Pro: A favorite piece for hot summer tours. Wind repellent, UV dense and cooling with airy inserts. Proven on thru-hikes.
Coefficient LT Hybrid Fleece: Extremely lightweight Polartec Power Grid Fleece with a lightly insulated Primaloft front. A great piece for year-round use
Sprint / Flatiron / Sierra LT Shorts: Whether with integrated briefs or without, the BD shorts are extremely comfortable to wear and yet robust enough for long tours.

Distance Packs:

the ingenious backpacks from the Distance line are available in 4L / 8L / 15L / 22L volumes. All offer an excellent fit due to different back lengths and special fits for women and men. The carrying system offers space for Softflasks, smartphones, bars and much more. It sits absolutely comfortably, without wobbling or pressure points. In addition to the great fit, the backpacks from 8L upwards impress with their virtually indestructible Dynex material. The Dyneema reinforced nylon offers extremely high abrasion resistance. Thanks to the welded construction, the packs are rainproof. Various pole and ice axe attachment options, a compression system and much more leave nothing to be desired!

Distance Carbon FLZ Folding Poles

Black Diamond has long been known for the best trekking poles. The  folding poles  from the Distance line are no exception. Extremely light and stable with a small pack size. The FLZ version can be finely adjusted in length. Available in various lengths and as men's and women's versions.

Sprinter Headlamp

The Sprinter headlamp has been running through the night with us for 2 years. It is USB rechargeable and has a switchable taillight. With 500 lumens, it is extremely bright and can be perfectly adjusted to different modes.
