Crazy Idea bei chrispacks
Long before Fast & Light and Ultralight were on everyone's lips, a small company in the Italian Alps began developing ski touring and trail running competition clothing in 1989. Crazy Idea (which is actually what I could have named chrispacks ;-)) was and still is a pioneer in truly lightweight, perfectly fitting clothing.

Production

All production takes place in their own factory in Romania and partly in Italy itself. Most of the raw materials also come directly from Italy. Crazy Idea deliberately avoids plastic packaging. So, when it comes to sustainability, Crazy doesn't have to hide. The transport and communication channels are short, so it quickly becomes apparent if something isn't right.

Design

For some things, you almost want to pour yourself a Spritz, Bella Italia ;-) The items are different from anything you're used to, and many things only reveal themselves once you've tried the clothing on. Maximum freedom of movement, super light, mini pack size. Great cuts, very good details.
A specialty at Crazy are the beautiful prints, developed with designers from all over the world. The denim prints on ultra-light softshell and trail running pants and shorts are cult.
Even with hybrid designs like the Acceleration Light jacket, you can feel Crazy's full know-how: Polartec Alpha for temperature regulation, windproof and water-repellent Toray inserts in the front, and extremely breathable side and back panels made of fleece combine to create an extremely versatile garment that works in almost all conditions.
New materials like Graphene are used in the Acceleration (women's Oxygen) jackets. Graphene also has a temperature-regulating effect. These pieces are much more than just "normal" fleece jackets!
A touch of nothing is also the Levity down jacket, 120g with 1000 fill power down, probably the lightest down jacket in the world.
Try on the items, and become Crazy fans! Perfectly fitting clothing, with a unique style!

Cuts and Fits

If you now think that Crazy only fits slender Italian XS athletes, that's not true. The fits are normal, and there are not only close-fitting items. Women's tip: Pants and shorts from the Exit series: incredibly light and ultra-comfortable!
