Devold -der norwegische Merino Spezialist-

History

The Norwegian company Devold has a long history! Since its founding in 1853, the company has equipped adventurers such as Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen and introduced many innovations.

Production

The new styles are designed at the headquarters in Ålesund, and production takes place at their own factory in Lithuania.

The Norwegians are particularly proud of their own (ISO-certified) EU production and their own supply chain. This ensures the highest standards are met, and the quality of the wool and finished products is top-notch!

Sustainability

With what Devold calls the Sheep to Shop system, the Norwegians have everything from the farm to the finished product under their own control. The (guaranteed mulesing-free) merino wool comes from farms in New Zealand, Argentina, and Australia.

All products also meet the Oeko-Tex 100 standard, meaning they are guaranteed to be free of harmful substances.

Naturally, Devold's long experience in wool processing is evident. The fits and cuts are excellent, and products like the Wool Mesh Shirt are extremely functional and look great too!
