Kahtoola -perfekter Grip auf Eis und Schnee-
Kahtoola develops high-quality products for hikers and trail runners.

The company was founded in 1999 by Danny Giovale and is headquartered in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Their best-known product is certainly the Kahtoola Micro Spikes. Perfect for old snowfields and icy patches, the Microspikes can be quickly and securely pulled over hiking boots or trail running shoes.

The spikes are suitable for hikes in the Alps as well as for the Sierra Nevada in California or a trek in Nepal.

The Exospikes are aimed at trail runners and speed hikers. Lighter than the Microspikes, with more grip in rugged terrain than the Nanospikes.

The Kahtoola Nanospikes, on the other hand, are suitable for trail runners and walkers. They too can be easily pulled over shoes. Runners can thus continue to use their favorite running shoes in winter! Secure grip on cleared paths!

The Kahtoola KTS Lightweight Crampons are unique. Thanks to the flexible connecting bar, the crampons fit very well on approach shoes. They thus close the gap between Micro Spikes and proper crampons.

The products are aimed at (long-distance) hikers and trail runners. The products are not suitable for technical mountaineering / classic high-altitude tours!
