Nola Backpacks

Backpacks are my passion. I'm enthusiastic about great, thoughtful design, clever features, and perfect craftsmanship.

Of course, I'm not alone in that. David Freitag from Switzerland, formerly a designer at Bach Backpacks, started his own company NOLA and with the Viander backpacks, he shows that it's still possible to bring innovative products to the market in this area.

First, the retro design stands out. Inspired by the feel of old cotton backpacks from the 1930s, but equipped with all the important features of modern times.

The Viander backpacks are available in 15 / 25 / and 35L versions and are perfect as a one-for-all backpack. Whether for hiking, mountaineering, or as an everyday backpack. The volume can be easily expanded by a few liters thanks to the clever daisy chain construction, and plenty of pockets allow for clean organization of luggage. All versions can also be reduced in weight by detachable components.

Great emphasis was placed on easy repairability. Many things can be repaired directly on the go. Workmanship and materials used are top-notch. Fits are unisex and suit all body sizes and shapes very well.
