Outdoor Equipment from Ukraine

Admittedly, until recently I hadn't really considered Ukraine as an "outdoor country," but of course, Ukraine also has a large outdoor, bike, and mountain sports scene! Last year, ISPO provided a platform for the Ukrainian outdoor industry to present itself. Besides the cult company Liteway, I also met the staff from Turbat there, and so the idea arose to offer a platform to our colleagues from Ukraine in my shop, to make them a bit better known here, and to help them in my small way during this difficult time for Ukrainians.

Turbat

Turbat has existed since 2005 with the goal of manufacturing travel and outdoor clothing and equipment in Ukraine. Before that, the two founders cycled, drove, and hiked quite a bit around the world, and so many practical experiences are incorporated into the collection. All parts are produced directly in Ukraine, and the down also comes from Ukraine.

Turbat Ultar

One of the highlights of the current Turbat collection is the "Ultar". A super lightweight down sleeping bag (comfort +1°) with many features that make outdoor life easier and more pleasant. Filled with the finest Ukrainian goose down (850 fill power), it results in a tiny pack size. This earned Turbat one of the coveted ISPO Awards. A great, ultralight 3-season sleeping bag that is ideal for trekking and bikepacking tours in the warmer months.

The Trek Pro Down Jacket is the flagship of Turbat's down jackets: ultralight, ultra-small packable, and ultra-warm. Sure, others can do that too, but not at this price! A great jacket of the best quality with Ukrainian 850 fill power goose down (189.-), available in women's and men's versions.

Turbat Cascade Zip Off Pants

The Cascade Pants  weigh under 300g, the stretchy material moves with every motion and can be packed very small in a backpack when not in use. Great pants at a great price (89.95). Also available in women's and men's versions.
