Mountain Equipment Xenith II

With a total weight of 470g, the Xenith II is one of the lightest sleeping bags for temperatures just above freezing.

Thanks to its filling of 197g DOWN CODEX® certified goose down with at least 900 cuin fill power and the incredibly lightweight and highly breathable PLASMA 10D outer material, the Xenith II has a unique warmth-to-weight ratio. The PFC-free DWR ensures that dew and condensation cannot harm the sleeping bag.

Slanted down baffles on the top are combined with vertical box baffles in the chest area. Stitched-through baffles on the underside ensure low weight with the greatest possible thermal performance. At the same time, the down has more room for maximum loft. The five-baffle hood and the collar ensure optimal down distribution and thus even warmth over a longer period of time. The anatomically shaped foot box with three baffles keeps the feet nice and warm.

The long zipper with Gemini™ System and integrated draft collar reduces heat loss and is additionally reinforced to prevent the zipper from snagging.

All sleeping bags in the Extreme Light Series feature the narrow but comfortable Alpine Fit, which provides an optimized warmth-to-weight ratio.

With a “Good Night’s Sleep” temperature of 1°C, the Xenith II is ideal for warmer temperatures.
