The padded ankle area offers protection when traversing scree fields and rocky terrain. The climbing-specific forefoot and toe construction with BlackLabel-Mountain rubber provides good grip and precision when the path turns into a climbing section. The deep tread ensures good grip even on muddy surfaces, while the full-length, padded tongue protects against penetrating dirt for additional comfort. The perfectly tuned EVA midsole provides sufficient stiffness and precision on steep terrain and via ferratas, and multiple webbing loops offer attachment options when the approach ends and the climbing begins.
